Executive Director Roundtables meet once per month for 2.5-hours, usually from 7.30am to 10.00am

Each meeting is facilitated by an experienced meeting facilitator from HighgateGlobal and provides each member with between 20 and 30 minutes to highlight an issue and receive feedback and constructive comment from the other members.  Our facilitators do not generate any content, but we do manage the process so that each meeting is valuable to each member. All discussions are totally confidential.

Our responsibility is to make the meetings run, ensure attendance and appropriate notifications, as well as follow-through and follow-up on any action items generated by the collective groups.  All you need to do is turn up and start discussing your issues.

All discussions will be documented by the facilitator and distributed to the group following the meeting.

Membership Criteria

Who: Must hold the position of Executive Director and/or be a leader of a nonprofit organization, who are able to attend at least six meetings per year.

Competitive avoidance: We screen each member's application in order to ensure there are only complimentary Executive Directors in each group, avoiding situations where sharing may be difficult.

Assessment of “fit” for each Executive Director within the context of a larger group of EDs

Consistency: As far as possible we try to keep EDR groups intact for as long as possible so as to build a solid network for each group member based upon trust and value.  If there is currently no logical opening in any group, your application will be kept on hold until a suitable seat is made available.

Cost of Membership/Fees

Application and Membership Fee: $30 per member (one time, non-recurring)
Roundtable Attendance Fee: $30 per meeting or $250 annually (covers nine meetings)
Non-member Roundtable Attendance Fee: $70 per meeting

Once your application has been approved and processed (usually within five working days) you will be sent a welcome pack and be provided with information about the upcoming meetings. 

As all meeting are restricted to a maximum of 10 members and, as is practicable, consist of Executive Directors from non-competing organizations, we will send you a suggestion of the best group for you to join. However, the objective is for you to get the most out of your membership, therefore we will be delighted to discuss options for groups with you!
